Global Running Day 2017

Yesterday marked Global Running Day and it was amazing to see so many people getting involved!

How did we mark the day?
Unfortunately for us we spent most of the day (as usual) in work but once we got home we made the most of the one day of dry weather this week and put our trainers on and headed out on our favourite route!

Rachel marked the day by taking her new Garmin Forerunner 35 out for a spin on the route to get used to the new watch and check out some of it's features - I'm sure there will be a blog post coming in the not too distant future!

How can you get involved?
There's still time to get involved even if you missed out on Global Running Day yesterday! Here's what we think are some good ways to appreciate the day...
  • If you're not a runner we have a beginners guide on the best way to get you started!
  • Sign up for an event you've been keeping your eye on - this week we've signed up for a local 10km and will soon be signing up for a local 10mile!
  • Treat yourself to a new pair of trainers - your feet deserve it.
  • Read your new favourite running blog (thanks guys!) or follow them on Instagram...
